Nice summary. I’d add to this list GoToCampaign.com as well.. ideal if you are looking for a simple no frills low cost platform with ability to create, send and track Email Campaigns on a pay as you go basis.

The services listed above aren’t for sending spam. haha Most of them probably require double opt-in lists to be used. They send you the coupons from your favorite store and the updates on your bank account. Spammers use different software all together and they don’t get your permission first, they buy your email address from your ESP, like yahoo. haha
