Well, the way that people do this is through a process called FTP. FTP is a file transfer protocol that allows you to either get files from your computer (local host) to a server somewhere else (a remote host) … a process called uploading. FTP is also the process to get files from a server somewhere else (a remote host) to your computer (local host) … a process called downloading.
