Here is a list of intuitive yet very simple and easy color scheme tools which web designers or graphic designers can find useful. Many of these tools will analyze a picture or photograph and provide you with a usable color scheme based on that image. Some of these tools will analyze a web site and provide you with a color palette. There are many useful color scheme generators, color schemers, and color palette creators below. WhatsItsColor - It’s a simple online tool that will analyze a photograph and provide you with the html numbers for the main colors that appear in the photo. It’s an image-color processing utility that will give you the image’s primary and complementary dominant colors of an image.

Color Palette Generator - This tool is useful for coming up with a website color palette that matches a key image a client wants to work with.

JRM Color Palette - It generates a color palette based on an image. Just upload your image and then this color tool gives out the web hex colors.

I Like Your Colors - You can enter the URL of a page that you like and it will show you the html numbers of the colors that are used on the page. You don’t need to copy the whole colors of other sites, but it can make you getting started.

100 Random Colors 2.0 - It’s a random color generator intended to help graphic designers.

    This is a dream list for me, as a web designer. You always get the client that has a logo, but has no idea what they want the site to look like. These types of resources are great at cutting some of the development time during the initial layout/color scheme designing. Keep the great blogs/resources coming!

    Brilliant, I actually have a colour wheel right next to me but it is not a very good one, these lists are fantastic.
