We just wanted to say thanks for visiting this site and to wish everyone a restful and happy New Year. We’ve done a little parody of a famous poem for all you web designers out there. We hope you like it.
Twas the Night Before Debugging
by Frank Ling aka “Admin”
Twas the night before debugging when all through the house,
Not a coder was stirring, not even a computer mouse.
The programmers had servers that would backup with care,
In hopes that their files, when called for, would still be there.
*
The coders were nestled all snug in their beds,
They all had full tummies from the pizza they were fed.
When all of a sudden with a crash and a clatter,
They all woke up to see what was the matter.
*
They peeked outside and saw a large van,
And inside the van was a very large man.
He had a red suit on and a very big bag,
The bag was so heavy that it made the man sag.
*
“Now CSS, now HTML, C++ and the rest,
I’ll make you better programmers and of this I don’t jest.
I’ve got scripts and apps and software galore,
I’ll give them to you free, you need not ask for any more.”
*
We thanked him for the presents then he decided to go,
And as he was leaving we heard “Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho!”
We all went back inside and as we turned out the lights,
He said, “Happy Coding to all and to all a good-night.”
See you next year everybody!
