It is art that cannot be corralled. Graphic Design is about communication. Communication requires a common language. Graphic Design is the visual language of communication. The creators of these sites (notice I did not use the word “designers”) are not fluent in the language of design and as a result fail to effectively communicate a message of value to a mass audience.

Hi Joy,
To tell you the truth, I was fascinated by some of them, especially the anarchy based one that seemed to go in all directions forever.
I guess it’s the same reaction that the art community experienced when they were presented with surrealism and cubism.

But yes, I’d have to agree that some of the websites we displayed were pretty bad.
