Beginners' Guide to Adobe Photoshop - Ever wanted to learn how to use Adobe Photoshop, but had no idea where to start?
Creating a Watermark - Large areas on your page which are monotone (a single colour) can look very drab. The best way to rectify this problem is by using a watermark. A watermark is a lightened area, as if someone had poured water onto it.
Fonts and Text - As far as I'm concerned, there are only two fonts worthy of being used for body text on web pages. Verdana, and Arial, both at size 2 (10 pts). At size 3 or larger, these fonts look different, so I tend to stick to size 2.
